Here are some of the videos I’ve filmed, captured audio, colour graded, edited etc. primarily with a Canon R5 MK1 and C70. Several also feature my own music compositions and thumbnail photography. You can see more of my work on the official Gordon Murray Automotive where the vast majority of content was filmed and edited by yours truly.
February, 2026 saw a last minute trip to the north of Sweden for -20° cold weather testing of the GMA T.33 prototypes. A standard flight to Stockholm and rickety plane that looks like the one in 1993’s ‘Alive’ to Arvidsjaur for a one day shoot! Scandinavian wilderness, Puffy winter jackets and gloves, a heated steering wheel, drone batteries surviving the cold, driving into oncoming traffic for the perfect shot – the lot.
I had a great time filming and editing this one! It didn’t get much traction online, but hearing Dario’s storytelling is always a pleasure and I was fortunate enough to travel to Laguna Seca the following year for Monterey car week 2024.
In preparation for the 82nd Goodwood Members’ Meeting, I got to film the T.50s Niki Lauda XP1 & XP2 take on the classic English circuit. You can always expect speed from Dario Franchiti but after his last lap, he showed me where he ‘kissed’ the tyre wall, highlighting the red paint on the wheel arch!
A different kind of video than the norm – a celebration of Professor Gordon Murray’s 60 years in car design and engineering. Filmed at the GMA Headquarters in Windlesham, visitors got to see Gordon’s latest creations, his love lightweight cars in his garage, his vast T-shirt collection, iconic photographs from his career, jukeboxes and more!
This 4-parter on the T.33 coupe supercar took some serious effort! Starting off with a piece on the Ultima GTR, Dario would eventually take the prototype mule car ‘James’ around the bowl at Millbrook Proving Ground. Considering the bulk of the in-car footage is from a GoPro, I’d argue it came out OK!
One of the most popular videos I made on the GMA channel at over 800,000 views, the T.50 final sign-off drive was an emotional one! Dario drove the T.50 pre-series prototype from Dunsfold to Puttenham for Gordon’s approval. Safe to say he got it as the big man gave it the beans through the Hindhead tunnel.
I was recruited for a last minute launch film in the T.33 Spider. I regret not having a deadcat, toying with framerates on the DSLR and not being more steadfast in my decision-making but ultimately, I was happy I got to piece together a long-format video that brings back fond memories of slap-dash story-boarding and midnight smoke machines.
I’ve visited Cosworth many times over the years but seeing so many fully built V12s in one room was something else entirely! A very down to earth palce in Northampton (and a stone’s throw away from Silverstone) it was never a challenge to capture the engineering art… except when they had an Aston Martin Valkyrie on the wall!
My first time working abroad took me to the south of Italy in Nardo to film a temperamental T.50 VP1 ‘Validation Prototype’. A gearbox issue with the second car meant filming time was cut in half and a lot of the the footage was from a simple reccy – very fortunate and grateful to go by the mantra of ‘if you think you should be filming… you should be filming!
I filmed all of the development vlog of Gordon Murray Automotive’s halo supercar T.50 with Dario Franchitti. The early episodes are definitely a little rough around the edges but considering it was the first ‘vlog’ I’d ever made and the original equipment was very antiquated, I can’t be too harsh on them!
